The Novi Choralaires is an eclectic group of singers from Novi, MI and surrounding communities, brought together by a shared love of music and fellowship.

AIDAN RICKEL, ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

With great pleasure Aidan Rickel has taken up the baton as Artistic Director of the Novi Choralaires. Aidan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Wayne State University. He serves as Director of Music Ministries at St. Mary Cause of Our Joy Catholic Church in Westland. He also teaches a private studio of Piano and Voice students. When not directing or instructing he can be found composing and arranging his own music. Currently he is pursuing his Masters of Music in Composition from Wayne State University. He writes in a variety of styles, from sacred to jazz, as well as choral arrangements for the Novi Choralaires such as “Sunshine On My Shoulders,” from last season’s spring concert.

TRENDA BALDRIDGE, ACCOMPANIST

Trenda Baldridge has been accompanying the Choralaires since 1997. She is the full-time accompanist for Southfield School District and the accompanist at the First United Methodist Church in Northville. In her spare time, Trenda performs with a jazz trio for weddings, receptions, house parties, and other events.
